Just finished “accessorizing” my New Years dress with Talley. Damn, looking good takes a lot of work.
Also, since it will potentially be sub-zero tomorrow night, I am planning on wearing sweatpants over my dress and slippers instead of my heels until we get into First Ave. Thank god for coat checks.
Just finished filing my taxes for 2010.
Whaddup, ahead-of-the-game and/or responsible self!
Just chilling on the runway.
You know, just de-icing the plane. Don’t ask me why they didn’t do this before we boarded when the aircraft was just hangin’ outside of the gate, passenger free. I’m currently twenty minutes delayed and it will probably be another fifteen while they de-ice. Good thing my layover is forty minutes so I’ll have plenty of time to sprint to my gate.
Meanwhile, I’m still appalled at how many people...
Pretty sure I pinched a nerve in my left arm. That, or the pain means I’m about to have a heart attack and/or stroke. Not so sure what to do about it since neither my doctor nor my physical therapist have any open appointments until the middle of January.
Just another reason I love the holidays.
A Little Encouragement Goes A Long Way.
Today I realized that driving through treacherous icy patches makes me subconsciously chant “Feel the rhythm, feel the ride, get on up…it’s bobsled time!” to my car.
Signs of the Apocalypse, part 674.
My car looks like dead frozen Leo from Titanic. Thanks, frost, for icing my car doors shut.
In other news, thank Moses it’s Friday!!! I mean, besides the fact that there is a winter storm warning and I will probably get stuck in another snowbank on my way to work.
I’ve lived in Minneapolis for half of my life, and I still do a double-take every first Wednesday of the month when the tornado sirens are tested.
Bitch please, self, like there would be a tornado in December.
